About this session
A games host sets up a zone of oversized games at your site and colleagues walk up and play: a giant stacking tower, a four-in-a-row grid taller than the players, outsized chess and checkers on a floor mat, dominoes the size of a shoe, two-handed dice, ring toss and bean-bag toss. People play in twos and fours, rematch, move on and mix with people from other teams. It suits twenty to two hundred people; the host sizes the zone to the headcount. The team gets an easy, social hour with a little competition, and the half day adds a tournament.
It runs in person only, indoors or out, in a clear area of about ten by ten meters for the basic zone, bigger for large events, with a wet-weather plan for anything outside. Workbliss brings the games, rules cards, a tournament scoring sheet and the host who briefs, resets and referees; the client provides the space, the expected numbers and timings. Games are chosen so anyone can join without instruction, standing or seated, with table-height games for people who cannot bend or reach. It is a games zone, not a facilitated workshop; nothing is debriefed.
